Gus Malezis
President and CEO
Gus is the CEO at Imprivata. He’s also our resident tinkerer – especially when cars are involved.
Gus Malezis
Chief Executive Officer
Gus Malezis is the President and Chief Executive Officer of
Imprivata. Gus is widely recognized as a visionary leader in the
information technology security industry where he brings more than
30 years of experience driving innovation and growth while
building market leading organizations.
Prior to joining Imprivata, Gus was most recently the President of
Tripwire, a leading global provider of endpoint detection and
response, security and compliance solutions. In his career, Gus
has built a strong track record of delivering growth and
innovation for leading technology and security companies such as
Tripwire, McAfee, and 3Com. He combines extensive knowledge of
global markets including North America, Europe, and Asia with
strong technical knowledge and a passion for enabling customer
success in the rapidly changing IT marketplace. Gus has extensive
background and expertise in information security and compliance,
networking, network systems management, CRM, and application
design and development.
Gus studied Computer Science and Philosophy at the University of
Toronto.

“If you do something you really love then that will NOT seem like work” is Gus’ favorite quote. Gus adds that coaching young professionals brings him tremendous satisfaction. Away from the office, Gus is usually found repairing or upgrading home electronics, or relaxing with family. Or, he’s tinkering with cars. He loves fixing up old cars and eating spit-roasted lamb, in that order.
Jim Carr
Chief Financial Officer
Jim is the Chief Financial Officer at Imprivata. A competitive triathlete, he suggests you stay hydrated and move fast if you want to catch him outside the office.
Jim Carr
Chief Financial Officer
Jim Carr is the Chief Financial Officer of Imprivata. He brings
over 20 years of industry experience leading successful teams
within both public and private companies. His responsibilities at
Imprivata include all financial matters, including accounting,
FP&A, audit, and tax.
Prior to joining Imprivata, Jim held leadership roles within
several prominent technology companies. Most recently, Jim served
as CFO for PlumChoice. While at PlumChoice, he oversaw all
financial, legal, and corporate development matters, as well as
investor relations. Jim has also held senior leadership positions
at Akamai, CA Technologies, and Oracle.
Jim holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from Bentley
University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from
Saint Michael’s College in Vermont.
Fun Facts
Native Vermonter Jim parlayed an active childhood into triathlon competitions as an adult. He describes training as the most fun when his teenaged kids join him for a long run or bike ride.
Barbara Dumery
Senior VP, Product Management
Barbara is the SVP of Product Management at Imprivata. A nature-lover, she likes to unplug and go exploring in the woods.

Barbara Dumery has more than 20 years of experience bringing
innovative solutions to market that address key challenges in
healthcare and drive growth. Barbara is passionate about
transforming healthcare IT to improve patient outcomes. When
Barbara first joined Imprivata, she successfully led product
management for Imprivata OneSign and Imprivata Confirm ID.
Prior to joining Imprivata, Barbara led product management at
Verscend Technologies; a healthcare analytics and population
health management company. Prior to Verscend, she worked at Nuance
for seven years, where she headed up product management for the
Health Information Management solution suite and was the Line of
Business lead for the radiology business. Also previously, Barbara
headed up product management at a mid-stage PACS start-up and led
market development at a patient monitoring and anesthesia machine
company. She holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering.
Fun Facts
Exploring the woods is Barbara’s go-to activity. As a lifelong nature lover, she’s instilling the same enjoyment in her two sons, who accompany her on hikes and share her favorite indulgence: flourless chocolate cake.
Sean Kelly
Chief Medical Officer
Sean is the Chief Medical Officer at Imprivata. He also covers First Aid for the Boston Red Sox at our native Fenway Park.
Sean Kelly
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Sean Kelly is the Chief Medical Officer at Imprivata where he
heads the company’s Clinical Workflow Productivity team and
advises on the clinical practice of healthcare IT security. In
addition to serving as Imprivata CMO, Dr. Kelly practices medicine
and teaches at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a level one
trauma center and academic teaching hospital in Boston, MA. He
trained at Harvard College, University of Massachusetts Medical
School, and Vanderbilt University, where he served as resident and
Chief Resident. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is
a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Kelly is a member of the CHIME Opioid Task Force, a team of
health IT leaders committed to taking deliberate actions to avert
the increasing addiction and growing mortality of the Opioid
Crisis. In June, the group published the Opioid Task Force
Playbook, a framework for building IT-based supports for
launching and maintaining system-wide initiatives to reduce the
disease of opioid addiction in our communities.
For several years, Dr. Kelly worked in hospital administration as
Director of Graduate Medical Education, responsible for over 600
doctors in training, comprising over $65 million in Medicare
funding. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard
Medical School, has published a textbook on emergency medicine and
articles on medical education, and won several teaching awards,
including the Harvard Affiliated EM Residency Best Teaching
Attending and Role Model awards.
Dr. Kelly is also the Co-founder and Partner of Lifeguard Medical
Group in Martha’s Vineyard, a seasonal concierge practice run by
emergency physicians. He serves as a visiting professor at the
University of Florence in Italy, First Aid physician at Fenway
Park, and enjoys doing humanitarian and disaster relief work
worldwide.

Pairing his passion for activity and healthcare, Sean covers First Aid for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. When he’s not traveling with his adventurous family, Sean is often found eating salmon nigiri or trail running with his dog, Lulu.
Tony Lenox
Senior VP, Customer Success
Tony is the SVP of Customer Experience at Imprivata. If he’s out of the office, he’s probably giving his skis a workout.
Tony Lenox
Senior Vice President, Customer Success
As Senior Vice President of Customer Experience at Imprivata, Tony
is responsible for all customer-facing operations that fuel
customer success including: professional services, customer
support, customer success, technical account management, and
renewals. Tony brings three decades of experience inspiring
high-performance technical teams for a variety of products and
industries. Under Tony’s leadership, the Imprivata customer
experience organization has been honored with the Gainsight Sally
Award and the TSIA STAR Award.
Tony has led teams supporting multiple products on various
platforms and environments, including SaaS and on-premise
solutions. Prior to joining Imprivata, Tony served as Vice
President of Customer Support at Brightcove. Prior to that, he
held customer success, support, and services leadership roles at
high-tech companies including Envox Worldwide, Pegasystems,
Epiphany, and Edify. Tony received his BS in Electronic
Engineering from the University of Scranton.
Fun Facts
From the age of nine, avid skier Tony has explored the slopes all over the U.S, including a spot of helicopter skiing in Utah. But his favorite snow-related activity was introducing his kids to the sport he loves and seeing their excitement.
Kelliann McCabe
Chief People Officer
Kelliann is the Chief People Officer at Imprivata. If she’s not at work, she’s probably on the go, because she loves traveling.

Chief People Officer
Kelliann brings more than 20 years of human resources management
and operational leadership experience to Imprivata, where she
leads the company’s global human resources and recruitment
initiative to ensure a high-standard of talent acquisition and
retention. Additionally, Kelliann oversees Global Facilities and
Administration, and is also tasked with the maintenance and
development of all business partnerships, while establishing
objectives that align with the company’s goals.
Prior to joining Imprivata, Kelliann was the Chief People Officer
of Symbotic, a global provider of supply network automation
solutions for warehouses and distribution centers, from 2011 to
2013. While there, Kelliann played a key role in the
transformation and rebranding of the business, which was
accomplished by establishing a new company culture and developing
an entire infrastructure that was conducive to employee growth.
Before Symbotic, Kelliann served as Vice President of Human
Resources at Netezza, an IBM Company. During her five-year tenure
at Netezza, Kelliann had a big hand in navigating the company’s
acquisition and integration by IBM. As a member of the executive
leadership team, Kelliann also successfully oversaw Netezza’s
global HR initiative, which included executive coaching,
recruiting and employee growth & development. Kelliann has also
held leadership positions at CA Technologies and at Concord
Communications.
Fun Facts
Citing Venice as her favorite city, Kelliann’s love for travel sparked at an early age when road-tripping with her parents. Exploring Italy brought her in close contact with another passion: homemade pasta with olive oil.
Mark Nesline
Senior VP, Engineering
Mark is the SVP of Engineering at Imprivata. He’s proof that you can love technology and sports equally.
Mark Nesline
Senior Vice President, Engineering
Mark Nesline is the Senior Vice President of Engineering at
Imprivata. Mark is responsible for leading all engineering,
software development, and server development activities. He has
extensive experience in technology product development, including
leading organizations that delivered industry-leading products in
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models and leading organizations that
delivered products for the security and healthcare markets.
Prior to joining Imprivata, Mark was the Senior Vice President of
Engineering at Lionbridge Technologies, the largest commercial
translation company. He was responsible for development of
Lionbridge’s language translation technology, as well as leading
product management and IT. Mark led product development for
Kenexa’s (now IBM) industry-leading SaaS applicant tracking
system, and was Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product
Development at Sentillion, an identity management company focused
on delivering solutions to healthcare providers. Prior to
Sentillion, Mark was Vice President of Engineering for RSA
Security, where he led development of authenticators and
authentication systems.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering Sciences from
Dartmouth College and Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and
Astronautics from Stanford University.

At an Imprivata company kickoff, Mark was thrilled to meet real-life astronaut and fellow engineer, Mike Massimino. Trading stories that involve technology and sports are what make Mark happy, almost as much as tucking into a Maryland crab cake.
Jack Sebbag
Senior VP, WW Sales
Jack is the SVP of Worldwide Sales at Imprivata. When he’s not at work, you can find him – but do not interrupt him – watching sports.
Jack Sebbag
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Jack Sebbag is the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at
Imprivata where he drives the development and execution of the
global sales strategy. Jack has been working in information
technology sales and sales management for more than 30 years. Most
recently as the Vice President of Sales, North America at
Tripwire, he was responsible for Sales and Sales Management in
North America and achieved significant growth by creating vertical
and specialist teams as well as a strategic accounts team.
Throughout his career, Jack has established expertise in security
and software, in part due to his sales leadership and innovation
at companies like Nakisa, MXI Security, Oracle, and McAfee.
Jack holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from McGill
University.

Jack’s passion for family time is rivaled only by his love of sports. Whether he’s armchair quarterbacking (with a side of sushi) or hitting the links, Jack enjoys being active at home and on the road.
Wes Wright
Chief Technology Officer
Wes is the Chief Technology Officer at Imprivata. He has an uncanny ability to feel at home anywhere.
Wes Wright
Chief Technology Officer
Wes Wright is the Chief Technology Officer at Imprivata. Wes
brings more than 20 years of experience with healthcare providers,
IT leadership, and security.
Prior to joining Imprivata, Wes was the CTO at Sutter Health,
where he was responsible for technical services strategies and
operational activities for the 26-hospital system. Wes has been
the CIO at Seattle Children’s Hospital and has served as the Chief
of Staff for a three-star general in the US Air Force.
Wes holds a B.S. in Business and Management from the University of
Maryland and received his MBA from The University of New Mexico.
Fun Facts
Wherever he calls home, Wes becomes a committed local. When living in Seattle, his support of the Seahawks intensified after observing quarterback Russell Wilson make weekly visits to Seattle Children’s Hospital. Wes loves his adopted city of San Diego, too, where he enjoys splitting a side of tater tots with his kids.
